About Petty
Amela Petty was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina and immigrated to Dallas, Texas in 1997. She graduated from The University of Texas at Dallas earning a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Psychology and completed her Bachelors of Science in Health Care Sciences and Masters of Physician Assistant Studies at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Before joining pain management, Amela worked as an internal medicine PA in the Austin area for 6 years and primary care for 2 years.
Amela is very excited to join the Republic Spine and Pain Family. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her friends and growing family. She is fluent in both English and Bosnian.
