Dr. Singa was born in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his undergraduate studies in biomedical engineering at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, and his graduate studies in international health at Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. After completing medical school in Chicago, Illinois, at Rush Medical College, he trained in surgery and surgical subspecialties before completing his anesthesiology residency in New Jersey at RWJ Barnabas. Dr. Singa then completed his pain medicine fellowship at Rush University Medical Center. He practiced interventional pain management and anesthesiology in California for a few years before he and his wife then came to their senses and moved to Texas.
When not practicing medicine, Dr. Singa enjoys spending time with his wife and young son.
