About Kraus
Shawn Kraus moved to Texas with her family from Michigan in 2011. She graduated from St. Clair Community College in 2001 with her Associates in Nursing then attended Oakland University where she obtained her Bachelor’s in Nursing. She completed her Master’s degree as Family Nurse Practitioner here in Texas at Texas A&M Corpus Christi. She has over 17 years of nursing experience in Medical/Surgical, Home health, Ortho, Women’s Health, Cardiology, and PACU. She developed a passion for helping people regain their quality of life during her years recovering orthopedic and spine surgeries in Austin. As a health care provider she believes developing an honest and real relationship with her patients is key to their healing journey. She enjoys celebrating the big and small wins her patients experience. When she is not in the office she is busy raising three kids Ashley, Matthew and Allen. When they are not on the baseball fields they enjoy camping, travelling, volunteering, and exploring all Texas has to offer.
